making items for newborns, especially hats, PLEASE use soft baby,
sport, or 'Simply Soft' type yarns.
♥ Newborns,
especially preemies,
have delicate skin - avoid using thick or chunky yarn.
♥ Always
check with your local hospitals to find out current needs, before
making anything.
♥ Ask
the hospital where you are donating for suggestions on patterns to use,
colors, sizes.
♥ To
fit a newborn make the hat stretchy and large enough to fit on a
grapefruit.
