Hygiene
Kit Project
![]() On March 5, 2005, in Logandale, NV, my friend Bobbi and I headed up, and held an assembly day to put together kits for the Tsunami Victims, through LDS Humanitarian. We ended up with about 750 kits to deliver to DI in St George who then shipped them to Salt Lake City for worldwide distribution.
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, thousands of kits are needed to help
those victims get a small start towards recovery. Please consider
making these kits or sending some of the items needed, to LDS
HUMANITARIAN. 1665 Bennett Rd Salt Lake City, UT 84104 Humanitarian Center at
1-800-453-3860 ext. 26060 HYGIENE KITS - each kit contains
Hand Towels (for Hygene Kits) New 15-inch by 25-inch hand towels. Please do not use dish towels or washcloths. (The link I have given is to purchase some that look perfect for the project) Hand towels may also be sewn. To sew towels, use terry cloth to make 15-inch by 25-inch hand towels. Serge or zigzag edges securely to prevent fraying. Please send completed Kits to LDS HUMANITARIAN They also will need: Newborn Kit Contents School Kit Contents
