2017 assembly: Our November 14, 2016 meeting was just wonderful. 8 of us assembled 201 complete kits, 75 partial
kits as we ran out of soap. The partial kits had a hat, booties,
diapers and a blanket. :) Plus we had several hats leftover
to just donate separately. We ended up with well over 300 items to give to new moms, many of whom are in need. Photos of our 2016 Assembly For all of you who made and sent things for our recent Mini-Kit assembly, here is a letter I received in a card December 2016 from UMC hospital in Vegas. :) "Dear Crafting Angels, Just a little note to express our gratitude for the generosity. Your newborn kits, blankets and hats, are greatly appreciated. Our families are so happy to have new items for their babies. Please know you are touching many lives. Kindest regards, Eliana C. on behalf of UMC's HM dept. " |
