This blanket can be
made any size, as long as it's square.
I
was inspired by a granny type square pattern in a crochet magazine for
an afghan.
I used Baby Sport Yarn and an I hook.
Chain 4 and join to make a circle.
ch 3, work 2 DC'S in same stitch, ch 2, do 3 DC'S, ch 2, around until
you have 4 - groups of 3 DC's.
Next Row: ch 3 and sc in same corner space, chain 3, skip 3, sc in next
corner space, ch 3, and sc in same space, repeat around
Next Row: ch 3, make 2 DC'S in same corner space, ch 2, make 3 DC'S in
corner, ch 1, work 3 DC'S in the chain 3 loop, ch 1, make corner,
repeat around.
Continue repeating rows, ch 3 skip the 3 DC groups, sc, ch 3, the next
row, work 3 DC's in loops.
You can change colors, and make it 20" for a Preemie Blanket, or 30"
for a Newborn.
