Shrove Tuesday Pancakes from England!

(To be made and eaten on Shrove Tuesday-- the Tuesday before Lent begins)
We used to get these at St. Margaret's school in Streetly, Sutton Coldfield, England on Shrove Tuesday!

2 cups flour
4 eggs
2 cups milk
A little melted butter and salt
Toppings--- lemon juice and sugar.

♥ Put flour in a bowl and make a 'well' in the middle.  Gradually whisk in the milk and eggs, and when all the flour is mixed in nicely, add the butter and salt.  Let this stand for 1/2 hour
Use a little oil in a frying pan, and thinly spread the batter over the hot pan.  Flip when you see bubbles all over the pancake.  Keep them warm in the oven till you have a bunch.

♥Serve with lemon and sugar on top~  YUMMY!
