Basic Crocheted Stoma Cover

Use
a size 1 or 2 steel crochet hook and #10 crochet cotton...
bright colors are welcome, as well as plain ones!!
Chain 42 sts
Row 1: 1 sc in 2nd ch from
hook then in each ch across (40 sts). Ch 2 and turn
Rows 2-19: Dc in each st across
row. Ch 2 and turn. (Row 19 ch 3 and turn)
Row 20: Trc (triple crochet) in next 4 sts, (5 triples) dc in next 30 sts, and trc in last 5 sts. Chain 75 sts, (like a bib tie) and sc back down those sts until the last 3 sts. Trc in next 4 sts. Dc in next 5 sc, sc in next 20 sts, dc in next 5 sts, trc in next 5 sts. (You should be around to the top of the other side of cover.) Ch 75 and sc back down in each chain st, fasten off.
