MARRIAGE
IS SACRED
"Any alternatives
to the
legal
and loving marriage between a man and a woman are helping to unravel
the fabric of human society. I am sure this is pleasing to the devil.
The fabric I refer to is the family. These so-called alternative
lifestyles must not be accepted as right, because they frustrate God's
commandment for a life-giving union of male and female within a
legal marriage as stated in Genesis. If practiced by all adults,
these lifestyles would mean the end of the human family."
President James
E Faust, Ensign, Sept 1995

♥ The real TEST!
Mormon.org - find out what we really teach and
believe! I remember years ago when I was first learning about the
Mormon Church, someone told me, "Why would you seek information about
Chevy's from the Ford dealership?" True, go to the source, find
out all you can, test drive it... (Find
your nearest LDS Church here)
Also, look at your friends and neighbors
who are active members of the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and ask yourself, 'are they doing
any good? are they producing any good fruits'? Are they trying to act
Christlike? Jesus Christ told
us we would be able to judge who were His followers by their fruits, in
other words, by their works. (Matt 7:20)
Do you hear active members of
the Church of Jesus Christ tearing
down other churches or people's beliefs? Do you see them helping
where and when they can? Are they good husbands and wives?
Are they striving to teach their children right from wrong? Are
they perfect? Well, no is the answer to that one, but they are likely
trying their best to be the best
they can.

"Behold, I
would exhort
you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that
ye
should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath
been
unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the
time ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts. And
when
ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask
God,
the Eternal Father in the name of Christ, if these things are not true;
and if ye shall ask with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will
manifest
the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by
the
power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things."

"After
reading some of the Book of Mormon, this most powerful scripture is
what convinced me, finally, that I needed to kneel down and ask my
Heavenly Father if the Book of Mormon were true. I knew if it was, then
Joseph Smith really was a Prophet of God, and the Church he helped
establish was Christ's original Church restored in our day. My
answer
came immediately with a warmth and a feeling of love as I had never
felt loved and I knew it was true". Bev

"Without reservation I promise you that if each of
you will observe this

read the Book of Mormon, there will come into your lives and into your

resolution to walk in obedience to His commandments, and a stronger

wonderful to listen to, extremely uplifting. Highly recommended.
