
Larger Soap Sack (5" x 6") with tie
These are to hold a regular sized bar of soap, small hand sanitizer and a couple of face masks

Abbreviations: Rnd = round; Ch = chain; sl st = slip stitch; dc = double crochet
Less than 1 oz crochet cotton.
Size H hook (5 mm)
Size = Approximately 5" across the middle, and 6" tall.
Starting at the base of the soap sack...
Rnd 1: Ch 3 (does not count as a stitch), make 11 dc inside that first chain. Join with a sl st in top of 1st actual dc of previous round (not into the ch 3). (11 dcs)
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc into the base of the Ch 3. * 2 dc in each dc around. (22 dcs)
Join with a sl st in top of 1st dc of previous rnd.
Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc into the base of the Ch 3. * 1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, Repeat from * around making sure to dc into the last stitch and the base of the ch 3.

Rnds 4 -
10: Ch 3 and make a dc in the
base of the ch 3, then dc in each dc around, joining with a sl st in the top of the 1st dc of the previous round.
(Do NOT dc into base of the ch 3 of the previous round). 34 dcs
Round 11: *ch1, HDC into next st. Repeat from * around top of the soap sack. Sl st into last st.
TIE : chain
65, end off. Weave in and out of the stitches in round 11.
Tie into a bow, that can be used to hang up the soap sack.
